About “Share your favourite photo you took in Hungary 2022” campaign

What is your favourite photo that you took in Hungary during your Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship years? Share with us under the official post of the game on the Study in Hungary Facebook page, leave a sentence to describe why it is your favourite one, and win a Stipendium Hungaricum package containing a notebook, a card case, and a suitcase label!

Who can participate?

The campaign is open to all Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship holders studying currently in Hungary and to all alumni Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship holders who already finished their studies. Participants must be over 18-years-old.

Schedule

The campaign period starts on 13 June and ends on 20 June, 2022. On 13 June, Tempus Public Foundation (the “Organizer”) shares the official post of the “Share your favourite photo you took in Hungary 2022” campaign on the official Facebook page of Study in Hungary.

The deadline for sharing your photos under the post is 20 June, 9:00 AM (CET). You can only participate in the campaign if you share your photo below the original post of the game, posted on the official Facebook page of Study in Hungary.

If a photo or comment you submit is found to be disruptive or offensive, the Organizer can exclude the commenter from the game and remove the comment.

At the end of the game, the Organizer will announce ten randomly selected winners among those who commented and shared their favourite photos below the official post. The winners will be announced on 21 June until 17:00 PM (CET).

Prizes

The Winners of the Campaign (the “Winners”) will receive a Stipendium Hungaricum package which contains the following:

– Stipendium Hungaricum Notebook (Booklet)

– Stipendium Hungaricum Card Case

– Stipendium Hungaricum Suitcase Label

The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the Organizer. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted and the prize is non-transferable. No substitution of prize or transfer of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winners are permitted.

Odds

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. No purchase or fee is necessary to enter or win.

Winners’ Selection and Notification

The Winners will be selected by a random drawing under the supervision of Tempus Public Foundation. The Winners will be announced on the official Facebook page of Study in Hungary on 21 June, 2022, until 17:00 PM (CET). After the announcement, the Winners shall contact the contact person of Tempus Public Foundation via email.

If the Winners do not contact the contact person and fail to claim the prize within 7 days from the time of the announcement, the prize may be forfeited and no alternate Winners are selected. The Organizer reserves the right not to announce a winner, if no photo and comment is shared below the post.

Management of exploitation rights

Participant grants a free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive and transferable license to use, reproduce, amend, adapt and alter (including but not limited to translation), publish, distribute, publicly execute and communicate the shared photo and comment (wholly or partially) on the websites and other forums of the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship, including stipendiumhungarcium.hu, studyinhungary.hu, and Study in Hungary Facebook page.

Exclusions

One person can submit only one comment with one photo during the game. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If You use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of the Organizer.

The Organizer reserve the right to exclude the commenter from the game and remove the comment which could be considered discriminatory based on race, and/or religion and/or nationality; is violent, pornographic or of a sexual nature; is defamatory; incites hatred; contains reference to alcohol, drugs or illegal substances; is contrary to law or contains reference to ill-treatment of animals.

PRIVACY NOTICE AND INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Data Controller provides the following information to You as the Data Subject of personal data processed by the Tempus Public Foundation (hereinafter: “Privacy Policy”) in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation; “GDPR”) and Act CXII. of 2011 on Informational Self-determination and Freedom of Information (“Info Act”)

Further glossary:

Data processing: shall mean any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction (under Article 4 2. of the GDPR).

Data Subject: shall mean an identified or identifiable natural person (under Article 4 1. of the GDPR).

Data Subject’s consent: shall mean any voluntary provided clear intention of the Data Subject that is based on specific and adequate information, whereby the concerned person declares by way of a statement or an explicit affirmative conduct that it provides its consent to the processing of its personal data.

Personal Data: shall mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘Data Subject’); An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an on-line identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person (under Article 4 1. of the GDPR).

Organiser of the game: Tempus Public Foundation is the Organizer of “Share your favourite photo you took in Hungary” campaign.

The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook. Study in Hungary Facebook page does not share or forward personal data to Facebook.

The legal base of data management: The Management of data is based on your voluntary, informed statement, which includes your explicit consent for the use of your personal data provided by your comment below the Campaign’s post. (Legal basis is Article 6 (1) (a) /consent of the data subject/ of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)).

Personal Data transmission: To the competent authorities upon request.

As per the course of the Campaign, your comment, profile picture and user name will be displayed to the public and to those who are interested in the Study in Hungary Facebook page (i.e. fans and visitors).

Scope of the data management

In connection with the Campaign, we will manage the following personal data of the Winners and Players:

• name, image
• e-mail address
• postal address
• date of birth
• name of Hungarian higher education (where previously studied / currently studying with Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship)
• name of study programme (previously studied / currently studying with Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship)
• study level (previously studied / currently studying with Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship)

The purpose of the data management: The Data Controller manages the Winners’ data for the purpose of identifying the Winners, to send email and the prize, and to keep in touch with the Winners in connection to the Campaign.

The duration of the data management: In the case of the Campaign, personal data will be processed until the purpose of data management is achieved, but at most until the Winner’s voluntary consent is withdrawn. The Winners may withdraw their voluntary consent at any time, free of charge, by sending an e-mail to krisztina.szabo@tpf.hu.

YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS:

Subject to certain legal conditions, you may request access to, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing of your personal data. You may also object to processing or request data portability. In particular, you have the right to request a copy of the personal data that we hold about you. If you make this request repeatedly, we may make an adequate charge for this. Please refer to Articles 15-22 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation for details on your data protection rights.

If you have given us your consent for the processing of your personal you withdraw the consent at any time with future effect, i.e. the withdrawal of the consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on the consent before its withdrawal. In case consent is withdrawn, we may only further process the personal data where there is another legal ground for the processing.

If you have any concerns about how your personal data is handled by us or wish to raise a complaint, you can contact us at the contact details below to have the matter investigated (adatvedelem@tpf.hu). If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the competent data protection supervisory authority in your country.
