What made you apply for the SH scholarship?
The reason why I have applied for the SH Scholarship is that I have always dreamt about studying abroad, getting to know other countries and cultures, and having an excellent studying experience. Besides that, the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme helps us financially, which was one of the main reasons that made me want to apply since I would not be able to afford to study abroad without the scholarship.
How did the SH scholarship contribute to improving your professional and personal skills?
I am currently finishing my 5th semester at BME University, and by now I have already worked with research together with several different professors and I have done an internship in Germany. Besides that, I am studying German and I can practice it with people from different countries, which was not possible in the small city where I come from. Studying with people from all over the world made me improve my English skills as well. I have developed independence, leadership, and communication skills. I am sure this experience will be valuable for my future as a Chemical Engineer.
What is your biggest professional/scientific achievement that is related to the scholarship programme?
My internship in Germany was my biggest professional achievement so far. The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme had a main role in this achievement. Because of the scholarship, I have been meeting people who can guide me and show me the best path to create a career that I will be proud of. In this case, it was not different. Without the scholarship I would never have met these people, so I would not have the opportunity to send my CV and get the position in Germany.
What are your future plans or goals? How can the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme help you to achieve them?
My main goal is to get an MSc scholarship at a top university around the world. The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme will be really important in my application since it is an international experience that provided me with knowledge in research and helped me improve my professional and personal skills. It made me improve my English, it helped me work in multinational companies and it provided me the research experience necessary to create a good academic path.
