Francophone culture is celebrated all across Hungary between 26 February and 8 April: the French Institute and the Francophone community’s twelve countries will organize the Month of Francophonie in Budapest and 15 other cities of Hungary. Film screenings, exhibitions and concerts will await at the 20th Francophone Festival and at the 10th Francophone Film Days.

State Secretary Orsolya Pacsay-Tomassich, opened the festival emphasizing that these programmes are vital parts of Hungary’s vibrant cultural life. Currently there are hundreds of SH students from 23 Francophone countries studying here, building vital relationships between their homeland and Hungary.
