The conditions of Dissertation Scholarship programme have unfortunately been changed due to decrease of financial sources provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Therefore, the Board of Trustees of Tempus Public Foundation accepted a new call for application which applies for the 2025/2026 Fall (ongoing) applications as well.
MAJOR CHANGES:
- Application deadline changed from 15th April, 14:00 CET. The new deadline to complete your application is 21st April, 14:00 CET.
- For this application round the maximum duration of the scholarship is five (5) months from the previous eight (8) months.
- The previous monthly stipend has been changed to HUF 43,700 for the total lenght (1-5th months) of the scholarship period.
- The medical insurance from HUF 65,000 have changed to HUF 32,500, arranged by the host institution with a Social Security Card
It is important to emphasise that those who are awarded with the Dissertation Scholarship are not eligible for the onetime HUF 400,000 graduation allowance upon completion of their defence. There is no change on this condition, still it is important to consider when you apply.
