The University of Pécs is ranked among the 200 best universities of the world – said Attila Miseta, the rector of PTE. Nationwide, the University of Pécs is ranked fifth among the institutes that accept SH applications: nearly 300 students, from 3 continents and 53 countries enrolled in the 2019/20 academic year. The institute has been partnered with the Stipendium Hungaricum programme right from the start since 2013. The University of Pécs offers 63 different courses for SH students and the number of scholarship holders are growing each year: as of today, every 5th foreign student studies here thanks to the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme.

The internationalization of the University of Pécs was also a major discussion point during the visit of State Secretary Orsolya Pacsay-Tomassich to this beautiful city: the Stipendium Hungaricum programme offers a large variety of development opportunities for the institute.
