The episodes airing weekly on the network’s YouTube channel are the base material for an ongoing online quiz available on shmentor.hu with valuable and fun prizes to win at the end. The playlist now consisting of 17 episodes is expected to grow to a sizable 40 episodes covering Hungary with a voice-over from Dávid Kiss, the tourism coordinator of the network and breath-taking images showing the country’s charm and beauty.
In the 6th episode of the video series, you can travel virtually in the Northern Great Plain region, which territory is characterised by flat grasslands, wooded areas and agricultural farms as well as River Tisza and small watercourses. You can get details about big cities like Debrecen, Nyíregyháza and Szolnok, which are the famous historical and industrial hubs of the region. During your journey, you can have a glimpse at small, rural villages with their traditional houses and wooden churches. The regions has many recreational places such as the Nagyerdő (The Great Forest) in Debrecen, the Sóstó spa in Nyíregyháza or Tiszaliget in Szolnok.
